Tourney O' Love
Saturday, February 20, 2010

Hosted by the Shire of Endewearde in Bangor, Maine

Updated: Monday, Feb. 1, 2010

Event runs from 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Removing the coveted pink baldric from the reigning "Champeen O' Love" is proving difficult indeed. Despite the many combatants and artisans who have tried, Sir Ivan Ulricson remains ever victorious. The smack talk has already begun and those who would have the title for their own are making ready even now to meet mid winter to fight, fence, and make merry. Perhaps this will be the year that Sir Ivan is bested!

Event Activities

Fencing, Rattan, and Arts and Sciences competitions are the hallmarks of this tournament. Participants of the tourney may enter and win one or more categories. However, the Pink Baldric will be awarded to the gentle that excels in all three and displays that which the Ladies of the Gallery feel exemplifies a true Champion  of Love. The whim of the Ladies of the Gallery may very well weigh heavily on the outcome of the tournament; after all, this is the Tourney of Love.
