Tourney O' Love
Saturday, February 23, 2008
Bangor, Maine

Hosted by the Shire of Endewearde

Updated: Wed., Feb. 20th

Too much time has passed since the Shire of Endewearde held the Tourney O' Love. Sir Ivan Ulrickson has held the infamous Pink Baldric without opposition for far too long. Verily, it is time to once again meet midwinter to fight, fence, and make merry.

Event Activities:

Fencing, Rattan, and Arts and Sciences competitions are the hallmarks of this tournament. Participants of the tourney may enter and win one or more categories. However, the Pink Baldric will be awarded to the gentle that excels in all three and displays that which the Ladies of the Gallery feel exemplifies a true Champion O' Love. The whim of the Ladies of the Gallery may very well weigh heavily on the outcome of the tournament; after all, this is the Tourney of Love.

See the Schedule for the Day.

Shire members contributing prizes for tournament winners include: Lord Ané du Vey ( a set of feast gear utensils ), Lord Gwillim Kynith ( a stained glass lantern ), Baroness Myrra Fionnbhair of Argyll ( leather containers ) and Lord Gruffydd Abernethy (  delicious confections ). In addition to the honor of bearing the pink baldric the esteemed Champion of Love will receive an overall tournament prize.
