The Basics 

Greetings to all you Pirates, Cut Throats, Back Stabbers, Lurkers in the Dark, and Ne'er-Do-Wells.

Can it be that this will be the Twentieth Bare Blade Tavern Brawl? Yes, this will be the twentieth edition of the longest continuous running fencing event in the East Kingdom.  This year we have a brand new site and lots of fun and fiendishness in store.  We will be taking a trip down memory lane as we will be re-creating some of the games and surprises of the past twenty Bare Blades.  There will also be a lavish day board provided and a gaming hall for the non fencers.  After the day festivities there will be a grand feast followed by dancing.  This will surely be an event that you will not want to miss.  So bring your foils, epées, daggers, and rubber band guns and plan on a bit of treachery.

Site opens 8:00 AM and closes 10:00 PM.

Event Fees: 

• Site : Site fees will be $10.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Children 6-17, under 5 free.  A $3 non-member surcharge will be added for adult non-members.
  

• Feast: Ages 16 to Adults fee $12.00 pre-registration only.  Children 6 to 15 fee $6.00 pre-registration only.  
  Children 5 and under free pre-registration only.  
  Feast reservation deadline is October 12, 2007

Overnight Accommodations

The people of the Shire of Endewearde have offered up places to stay if you are coming from near or far.  If you would like to attend this event and would like crash space for the night, so that you might enjoy all of the events activities (Feast and Ball) contact the autocrat by email.  

The Black Bear Inn is about 1 mile away from the event site.  Contact the autocrat or the inn directly for pricing and availability.

Fencing notes from the Fencing Marshal: This is a Light Rapier (foil/epee) default. RBGs will be allowed for specific scenarios. We may not be able to accommodate fencing with heavy rapiers due to the all-melee format of this game.  

Additional Site Notes: There will be a soccer game on the outside lawns of the event site which will wrap up by 1 pm. Parking is available across the street at the white church's parking lot if the lot is full. 

Yes, you may drop off your gear before parking.
