This fine Bare Blade feast is being prepared by Gruffydd Abernethy and his staff.  

First Course

  • Payndemayn & Boters 
    Fresh baked bread and honeyed butter

  • Aquapatys 
    Spiced, boiled garlic

  • Blank-Mang 
    Chicken in rice with almond milk and ansie

  • Gourdes in Potage 
    Squash and pumpkin cooked in a sweet, gingered broth

Second Course

  • Funges 
    Mushrooms sautéed with leeks and fresh ginger

  • Tartee 
    Herbed pork pie

  • Muskels in Brewet 
    Mussels in Broth

  • Peeres in Confyt
    Pears colored with sandalwood and stewed in wine

Third Course

  • Fritors 
    Parsnip and apple fritters in ale batter

  • Salat 
    Greens and beets

  • Sawse Madame 
    Duck stuffed with garlic, fruit, and herbs

  • Rapé 
    Figs and raisins puréed in sherry

Feast begins at 5:30 pm. Please bring your own feastware, tablecloths, napkins, and candles.

Event Fees:

Site: Site fees will be $10.00 for Adults and $6.00 for Children 6-17, under 5 free.  A $3 non-member surcharge will be added for adult non-members.

Feast: Ages 16 to Adult fee $12.00 pre-registration only.  
Children 6 to 15 fee $6.00 pre-registration only.  
Children 5 and under free pre-registration only.  

Feast reservation deadline is Friday, October 12, 2007
