Driving Directions
to
Bangor Housing Authority Community Center

This is a free practice. Here are a few images of the building.

Take Exit 184 Union St / Ohio
St / Airport (Route 222)
Southbound: At the end of Exit
184 ramp TURN RIGHT at traffic light. (While on
the ramp please watch for crossing traffic to
your right side).
Northbound: At the end of Exit
184 TURN LEFT. You will be on the I-95 overpass
bridge. Go straight through the traffic light
(at the end of the Southbound exit
ramp).
To follow the Shortcut directions MAKE A RIGHT TURN onto Sixteenth Street immediately after the traffic light. See below.
THE MOST DIRECT WAY TO GET THERE
Short Cut to Ohio Street: Union and Ohio Streets run parallel. There is a small street, Sixteenth Street, located parallel and to the right of the Southbound exit ramp that cuts over to Ohio Street. TURN RIGHT ONTO SIXTEENTH STREET just past the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp.
At the end of Sixteenth Street TURN LEFT onto Ohio Street.
Shortly up the road you will see an Irving gas station on your right at the traffic light (intersection of Ohio Street and Griffin Road). CONTINUE STRAIGHT through these lights.
On Ohio Street:
On Ohio Street you will drive past a large "Deerfield" sign on your left and the intersection of "therockchurch" on your right.
Further up the road you will TURN LEFT onto Davis Road at the Yellow Flashing Light.
The Bangor Housing Authority is the second large building on your LEFT. Park in the lot and enter through the doors marked with the sign Community Center.
Take Exit 184 Union St / Ohio
St / Airport (Route 222)
Southbound: At the end of Exit
184 ramp TURN RIGHT at traffic light. (While on
the ramp please watch for crossing traffic to
your right side).
Northbound: At the end of Exit
184 TURN LEFT. You will be on the I-95 overpass
bridge. Go straight through the traffic light
(at the end of the Southbound exit
ramp).
Continue Straight On Union Street (heading towards Bangor International Airport):
You will now go through FIVE TRAFFIC LIGHTS with easy to spot landmarks along the way as follows:
Traffic Light 1: (Vermont Avenue) EMCC Healthcare Mall will be on your right.
Traffic Light 2: Dunkin Donuts restaurant will be on your right.
Traffic Light 3: Wendy's restaurant will be on your right.
Traffic Light 4: Intersection of Airport Mall (on your right) and Bangor International Airport (to your left). Continue straight through and get in the right hand lane.
Traffic Light 5: (Griffin Road) Mobil gas station to your right. TURN RIGHT here.
On Griffin Road:
Take a LEFT TURN at the Traffic Light (intersection of Ohio Street and Griffin Road). There is an Irving gas station across the street.
Davis Road is approximately 1.4 miles from this intersection.
On Ohio Street:
On Ohio Street you will drive past a large "Deerfield" sign on your left and the intersection of "therockchurch" on your right.
Travel straight and you will TURN LEFT onto Davis Road at the Yellow Flashing Light.
On Davis Road:
Bangor Housing Authority is the second large building on your left.
Park in the lot and enter
through the doors with the sign Community
Center.

Whoops... Continued Straight on Union Street: If you miss the turn at the intersection of Griffin Road and Union Street you can continue straight on Union Street. You will drive past the Green Acres Kennel on your right. Davis Road is up ahead (that one lonely little road cutting through the open fields). Go straight on Davis Road past the Penobscot Veterinary Clinic. Stop at the flashing light and continue straight. Pick up the driving directions above "On Davis Road".
