Greetings and Well Meet,

The Shire of Endewearde invites you to join us in showing off all the best the SCA has to offer in what has become Maine's largest medieval demo.  Feel your soul stir as you stand on the granite ramparts of the historic Fort Knox, overlooking the Penobscot River.

Last year's demo gave over 9000 visitors a taste of a Pas d'Arms, fencing, youth fighting, archery, thrown weapons, music, dance and A&S exhibits.  So bring your armor and weapons or lute and loom and join in the festivities.

There will be no formal day board, but snacks and drinks will be provided.  There is no fee to attend, just inform the gatekeeper that you are part of the SCA demo.  Please call the autocrat for more information.

Directions:

On Rte.  From North - Follow US Rt 1 through Bucksport and cross the suspension bridge.  Immediately off the bridge, turn right onto Rt 174 (Ft Knox Road).  In less than a quarter mile, the park entrance will be on your right.

From the South - Follow US Rt 1 toward Bucksport.  As you approach the suspension bridge, turn left onto Rt 174 (Ft Knox Road).  In less than a quarter mile, the park entrance will be on your right.
