The Shire of Endewearde is looking for your help!  We are looking for Scadian folks of all types to help us with showing off what we do best, to a crowd that in years past has registered in the thousands.  Please join us at historic Fort Knox, a civil war era, all granite fortress, overlooking the Penobscot river.  It may be a little late period, but a glimpse of those ramparts seldom fails to stir the medievalist's soul. 

We will be having an open archery range, music and dance demos, arts and science displays, fencing demonstrations, and a formal Pas d'Armes, as well as many other events throughout the day.  There is no formal day board.  Drinks will be provided.

In the past, our annual Demo at Fort Knox has been said to have more of the feel of an event than a regular demo, so come with sword and rapier, or needle and thread, and revel in what we do best!
There is no fee to attend, merely inform the gatekeeper that you are SCA

Directions:

Take I95 to exit 182a (I395), in Bangor, ME.  Take Exit 4 to Route 15 south.  Follow Rte 15 South through the city of Brewer and the towns of Orrington and Bucksport.  In down town Bucksport, take a right onto US Rte.1 South and proceed over the Waldo-Hancock County suspension bridge.  Immediately upon exiting the bridge take a right onto Rte.  174.  (Fort Knox Rd.) Fort Knox will be approximately 1/4 mile up on your right.
