The Shire of Endewearde will be hosting a demonstration for the general public at Fort Knox State Park.  The demonstration events will be day long and will include a Pas de Armes for heavy list fighters, dancing demonstrations, a fencing tournament, an archery field, an arts and sciences display, a fabric arts demonstration, and a childrens games area.

There is no day board for this event but a light refreshment table will be provided.Picnic areas are available.  As the site is a State Park it is dry.  For those of you who will want to explore the fort on your own please bring a flashlight as some of the areas are quite dark and there is no lighting.

Directions:

From the South make your best route to Interstate 95.  Head North on I95 to Bangor.  Exit onto I395(exit 45) heading East.  Exit to route 15(exit 4).  Take route 15 South heading towards Bucksport.  In Bucksport turn right onto routes 1&3(the fort should be on your right across the river).  Follow routes 1&3 across the suspension bridge.  At the end of the bridge turn right onto route 174 and follow the signs to Fort Knox State Park.

From the North make your best route to I95.  Take I95 South to I395(exit45).  Take I395 East to route 15(exit 4).  Follow the same directions as from the South.
