Update: Thursday, September 25

Despite the forecast, Harvest Moon is still going to happen this Saturday the 27th. Our gracious site owner is opening her home to us so we have a place to stay cozy and dry. So bring yourselves, a game or two, perhaps an instrument and music, or even a small project to work on or teach with, and come spend a day relaxing with friends and enjoying a wonderful day-board.

Activities outside are still an option for the brave, or during breaks in the rain, so bring a good hat and cloak, this site is too beautiful to miss.

Intrepid hunters who brave the weather will compete for the prize for Best Hunter. The competition for  Malagentian Archery Champion will still occur, with the winner being awarded a scroll and the honor of designing next year's challenge. If it's too wet, we may well come up with drier challenges...

Our lovely Lady Gwenllian will be keeping us delighted and fed with a menu to contain:

Beer Night
Saturday November 8 at 6:00 pm

From Lady Syvlia du Vey "Here's a night where we drink beer! Bring a beer or two (or more) in your favorite genre. Last time we seemed to feature stouts and though I LOVE stout, perhaps there are other good beers out there? If you brew, this gives you some time to prepare some home brew for the occasion! Vey and I may even make stew and invite people to eat dinner with us - keep an eye out for future announcements about this night!"

The workshop will be held at Vey & Sylvia's home in Bucksport. Contact Sylvia for more information.

Cordials for Christmas
Saturday December 6 at 2:00 pm

Lady Sylvia writes: "I will be making some cordials to give as Christmas presents on this day. You are welcome to come join me in this endeavor! Bring your favorite base (vodka or brandy), and flavoring. I will make a large vat of simple syrup and you will leave with a cordial. I challenge participants to try to locate a period recipe to bring to this class, even if you don't intend to use it. We can have a recipe swap! More information to follow."

The workshop will be held at Vey & Sylvia's home in Bucksport. Contact Sylvia for more information.
