Warriors of Endewearde

Words and Music ©2007 by Brian A. Hubbard, known in the Society as Lord Gwillim Kynith.

"This song was written as Endewearde readied for the Great Endewearde Civil War (hopefully the first of many!)"

Chorus: Now rise up and fight oh warriors of Endewearde! C Dm G
Our battle cry makes the foes’ blood run cold. C Dm D7 G
With Endewearde's banner in battle before us; Dm C G C
Our names will be praised as in songs of old. Dm C G C

Ready your sword, your armor, your bow C Dm G C
And muster around the bold Knight from Thanet. C Dm D7 G
For tomorrow we fight to drive back the foe Dm C G C
From our Homeland of spruce and oak and granite. Dm C G C

Chorus

They try to steal our homes and our land.
All they'll get from us is sorrow and death.
For like spires of rock in armor we stand.
With fire in our eyes, this song on our breath.

Chorus:

Now once more to battle together we march.
Live or die, we've nothing to lose.
We've food when we're hungry and mead when we're parched.
But when given a choice, it's honor we choose.

Chorus:

So fight to the death for your land and your home.
In glory die, or in honor live.
Stand ready, oh Endewearde, your foe has come!
And to him, by God, a swift death we'll give.

Chorus:
