Welcome to the Arts & Sciences pages of the Shire of Endewearde, a group of medieval enthusiasts in Maine who are members of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)!

The Arts & Sciences are all the crafts, skills, and technologies practiced in the time period and cultures that the SCA covers. Arts & Sciences range from the recipes used for a feast to the armor used in combat, the clothes and costumes we wear to the bardic arts of singing, storytelling, poetry and instrumental pieces.

We in Endewearde are blessed to have a populace of talented people who are willing to share their knowledge and skills. If there is something that you find interesting, be it woodworking or calligraphy, cooking or combat armor, there is someone in the shire who will be happy to help you learn more!

But better, it is our hope that this site will help encourage and inspire you and our shire members to try a new art, strive to perfect an "old" art, and find joy, camaraderie, and pleasure along the way.

If we can help you in any way, please contact the A&S Minister via email at a+s@endewearde.eastkingdom.org and we will be happy to help!
