The Shire of Endewearde is a branch of the East Kingdom in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).  If you are new to the SCA or just want to learn more about this non-profit medieval recreation group several good resources can be found on the SCA Newcomer's webpage. 

There are a wide variety of activities running on a regular schedule in the Bangor and Waterville areas. Adult heavy armored fighting (often called "Rattan" for the wooden swords used), youth armored combat, adult and youth rapier combat, archery, thrown weapons, various artisan activities such as metalworking, leatherwork, stained glass, music, dance, costuming, needlework, and much more.

Summer is time to celebrate Independence Day 
with Family & Friends. 

There are no scheduled SCA activities in the 
Shire of Endewearde over the Independence Day weekend 
(July 4-5).

Queens Favors Embroidery 
and Painting workshop

Are your fingers itching to embroider or paint just a few more favors for Queen Gabriella to present to her loyal East Kingdom subjects at Pennsic War?  Please join the Endewearde Embroiderers at Lady Margaret of Rochester's home in Bangor for an afternoon of chat and crafts as we slap together just a few more favors to give to Queen Gabriella at Great Northeast War. Refreshments will be provided (mead and cheesecake).

On Tuesday, July 7,  2009 at 6:30 pm there will be a Shire of Endewearde meeting in Bangor at the home of Lord Godric and Lady Margaret. Please contact the Seneschal of Endewearde, Lord Gwillim Kynith, for more information and for driving directions to this meeting site. The topic for this meeting is event planning.
