Youth Combat and Adult Fencer & Fighter practices are held each Sunday at Eastern Maine Community College (EMCC) Johnston Gymnasium in Bangor.

Welcome to the Shire of Endewearde

The Shire of Endewearde is a branch of the East Kingdom in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).  If you are new to the SCA or just want to learn more about this non-profit organization, please read more on the SCA Newcomer's webpage. 

There are a wide variety of activities running on a regular schedule in the Bangor and Waterville areas. Adult heavy armored fighting (often called "Rattan" for the wooden swords used), youth armored fighting, rapier combat, archery, thrown weapons, various artisan activities such as metalworking, leatherwork, stained glass, music, dance, costuming, needlework, and much more.

SCA Demo at the Union Masonic Lodge
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

The Shire of Hadrian's Keep (almost incipient) will be holding a demo at the Union Masonic Lodge.

The next medieval dance practice is scheduled for Sunday, May 11 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Gazebo in Fairfield Maine

Beginners are welcome.
No costume required.
This is a free activity.

Copyright: Lisa Tyson, 2008.Outdoor Archery practices will be regularly held on Tuesdays from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in Bangor at Godric and Margaret's home all summer. In case of rain an archery workshop will be held indoors, affording the opportunity to work on making new arrows, bow strings, or other SCA projects. Contact Godric for further information and for driving directions to his home. Royal rounds can be shot at this practice.
